The Somali Defense Minister meets with the Head of the United Nations Support Library in Somalia

 The Minister of Defense of Somalia, Mr. Abdiqadir Mohamed Nur, met with the Head of the United Nations Support Office in Somalia, Ms. Issa Kirabo Kasera, and the Minister spoke about the great progress made by the Somali National Army in defending and liberating the country, with the support of international supporters.

The Minister, who thanked the United Nations for supporting Somalia, pointed to the ongoing efforts to develop the capabilities of the armed forces, especially the management of logistics services and procedures for major operations against terrorist groups that pose a challenge to the stability of the country, the region and the world as a whole.

The minister indicated that the Somali federal government will strengthen its operations against Al-Shabaab, so it is necessary to increase the necessary logistical support that will help eliminate Kharijite groups in Somalia.
