The Egyptian Foreign Minister arrives in Mogadishu to attend the inaugural EgyptAir flight

 Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati arrived in Mogadishu on Friday on the inaugural EgyptAir flight to Mogadishu as part of strengthening relations between the two countries.

Somali Foreign Minister Ahmed Moalim Faki received Abdel Ati’s delegation at Adam Adde International Airport, where the inauguration ceremony took place. In a press conference, the two ministers expressed their hope that the EgyptAir flight would serve as the basis for expanding cooperation between the two countries.

Minister Faki stressed that the new flights are expected to strengthen economic relations by enhancing trade, tourism and investment opportunities between Cairo and Mogadishu.
