The President of the Republic receives the UAE Ambassador to Somalia

 The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, received His Excellency Ahmed Juma Al Rumaithi, the UAE Ambassador to Somalia, at the Presidential Palace to discuss common interests between the two countries.

The two sides discussed issues of common interest, including strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and security cooperation to support the government’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in Somalia.

The UAE is a partner of Somalia and helps the country in many areas, including humanitarian, development and security affairs. It helps Somalia overcome external crises and helps the Somali people overcome climate crises.
