 On Tuesday, in Washington, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, and Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, on the sidelines of his official visit to the United States.

The meetings addressed the rapid developments in the field of modern technology and artificial intelligence, cooperation between the relevant authorities in the UAE and Microsoft, and joint investments in this vital field, according to the Emirates News Agency.

The meetings touched on the importance of the “Global Partnership for Investment in Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure” that was recently announced, in which the Emirati technology company “MGX” and Microsoft and others are participating, and what this partnership represents as an important push for investment in this field for the benefit of development and prosperity throughout the world.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the UAE attaches great importance to investing in the field of artificial intelligence and advanced technology to serve its vision for development in the present and future, and is keen to enhance its cooperation with international companies in this regard, stressing that the responsible use of artificial intelligence technology enhances development in the world and benefits everyone.
