The Chargé d'Affaires of the Sudanese Embassy in Mogadishu meets with the Somali Foreign Minister

 The Chargé d'Affaires of the Sudanese Embassy in Mogadishu, Mr. Ammar Ahmed Babiker Ali, and Mr. Counselor Imad Hamid met on Monday with His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Maalim Faqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, where they discussed a number of issues of common interest regarding increasing cooperation, consultation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in Internal, regional and international issues.

His Excellency the Minister affirmed Somalia's full support for Sudan in the challenges it is currently going through. Thanks were extended to the brotherly government and people of Somalia for their sympathy and support for Sudan.

During the meeting, a detailed explanation was given to the Minister about the developments in the situation in Sudan, especially the recent victories of the armed forces against the rebel militia. It was also confirmed that the rebellion is close to being resolved once and for all, God willing.
