The Somali Foreign Minister meets the Saudi Minister of Investment

 The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Somali government, Mr. Ahmed Moalim Faqi, met with Eng. Mr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to discuss enhancing investment opportunities, trade exchange, and the various resources that Somalia offers to Saudi investors.

The two ministers' discussions highlighted the economic potential in Somalia and the mutual benefits of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, and the aspiration to strengthen a fruitful partnership that will drive growth and prosperity for both countries.

Faqi, who is on a visit to Saudi Arabia, met with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and discussed with him ways of cooperation in the fields of economic development, security and cultural exchange, in addition to regional and international issues of common interest.
