The Speaker of the Somali People's Assembly meets with his Emirati counterpart in Abu Dhabi

 The Speaker of the People's Assembly of the Somali Federal Parliament, Sheikh Adam Mohamed Nour Madobe, met on Wednesday with His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council, in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, ways to strengthen relations between the two countries were discussed, especially in the parliamentary fields, and joint cooperation between the two sides. The meeting also dealt with enhancing synergy between Somali and Emirati parliamentarians and how to develop bilateral relations.

Sheikh Adam Madobe expressed his thanks and appreciation to his Emirati counterpart for the official invitation and warm reception at the meeting held at the headquarters of the UAE Parliament.

It is noteworthy that the delegation of the Speaker of the People's Assembly includes members of the Parliamentary Friendship Committee between Somalia and the UAE, in addition to members representing the Somali Parliament in the Arab League.
