A new batch of Somali army graduates from General Tagbodden Academy in Mogadishu
The General Tagbodden Military Academy in Mogadishu witnessed the graduation ceremony of a new batch of soldiers in the Somali National Army, in the presence of the Deputy Commander of the Land Forces, General Abdullahi Aro, and representatives of the European Union Training Mission in Somalia.During the ceremony, General Aro commended the graduating soldiers, commending their dedication and determination during the training period. He stressed the vital role they will play in strengthening Somalia’s sovereignty and protecting its security and stability.
For its part, the European Union Training Mission, the main partner in building the Somali army’s capacity, affirmed its continued commitment to supporting Somalia in strengthening and developing its military institutions. The graduating soldiers are expected to be deployed in various areas within the country to contribute to ongoing military operations and enhance stability in the liberated areas.
