The Somali Prime Minister receives a delegation from the Sultanate of Oman
The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, received a high-ranking delegation from the Sultanate of Oman headed by the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, His Excellency Engineer Said bin Hamoud bin Said Al-Maawali.During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the Federal Government of Somalia and the Sultanate of Oman were discussed, with a focus on the areas of trade, investment and technology development. The Somali Prime Minister also briefed the visiting delegation on the progress made by the government in various fields, and the investment opportunities available in the country.
For his part, the Omani Minister expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Somali government and people for the warm welcome he and his delegation received. He praised the achievements made by the Somali federal government in the areas of security, combating terrorism, and infrastructure development.
