The Somali National Army's DNB Special Forces participated in the Justified Accord military exercise in Kenya, marking their second appearance at the event. Commander of the Somali Special Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Saleh Abdi, attended the closing ceremony in Kenya. Deneb Special Forces demonstrated skill, discipline and flexibility during the exercise.

The aforementioned maneuver is considered the largest military exercise of the US Africa Command, in East Africa, led by the US Task Force in Southern Europe and Africa, and the maneuver brings together more than 1,000 personnel from more than 20 countries.

The event builds the readiness of U.S. joint forces, prepares regional partners for UN and AU missions, and strengthens cross-country alignment for humanitarian, disaster, and crisis response. The Somali National Army's participation underscores the progress it is making in the field of training and international cooperation, which enhances its defense capabilities and operational readiness.
