Borouge strengthens its position in AI in partnership with Mohammed bin Zayed University
Borouge, one of the petrochemical companies specialized in providing innovative and diversified polyolefin solutions, revealed that it has entered into a partnership with the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence to enhance collaborative research, transfer knowledge, and create training opportunities for students.
This partnership will contribute to enhancing Borouge’s efforts in the field of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. Through its role in supporting innovation and discovering solutions based on artificial intelligence, this partnership will rely on research and product development to enhance the support that Borouge provides to various industrial sectors such as energy, infrastructure, automotive, healthcare, electricity, advanced packaging and agriculture.
The partnership will also contribute to enhancing the skills of the next generation of artificial intelligence pioneers, providing students with training opportunities at Borouge to develop their professional skills and expertise and benefit from the company’s workshops and seminars on current developments in this industrial sector.

It is noteworthy that this three-year partnership will contribute to enhancing Borouge’s efforts in benefiting from the tools and techniques of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and technology, as Borouge achieved 790 million dirhams ($215 million) in value in the first half of 2024 through implementing a wide range of projects across the value chain that include several areas, including operations, sales and sustainability.
