Media sources reported that Saudi club Al-Hilal, led by Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, is close to signing Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri from Turkish club Fenerbahçe.

A report by the Turkish newspaper Aksam indicated that the Saudi club has entered the fray and begun negotiations to sign the Moroccan striker during the current summer transfer window, adding that Inzaghi has given the green light for this potential deal.

The same source indicated that Fenerbahçe, coached by Portuguese Jose Mourinho, had set En-Nesyri's transfer fee to Al-Hilal at €40 million.

However, Al-Hilal has set its financial offer at €35 million to complete the deal.

The market value of the 28-year-old Moroccan international is approximately €24 million, noting that he is still under contract with the Turkish team until 2029.

The newspaper explained that Al-Hilal's move came after negotiations to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, the Napoli striker, faltered.

Since joining Fenerbahçe, Youssef En-Nesyri has participated in 52 official matches, scoring 30 goals and providing 7 assists.
