Governor of Banadir Receives Saudi Ambassador

Mogadishu – The Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein Monggabe, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Ahmed Mohamed Al-Mawlid, at his office at the Banadir Governorate and Mogadishu Municipality headquarters on Sunday.

A meeting at the Governor's office discussed cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They also discussed ways to support Banadir in rebuilding economic infrastructure, developing community services, accelerating relief efforts, and implementing projects to resettle displaced persons in the capital, Mogadishu.

During the meeting, the Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Monggabe, expressed his deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its pioneering role in supporting the people and government of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

It is worth noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the countries interested in Somali affairs, providing support to Somalia at all levels.
