President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud Offers Condolences on the Passing of the Second Vice President of Jubaland

Mogadishu – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madobe), Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, and senior officials offered their deepest condolences on the passing of Sultan Abdulkadir Haji Mohamud, who served as the Second Vice President of Jubaland.

The President praised the late Sultan's contributions to peacebuilding, national unity, and statehood, describing him as a venerable sheikh who played a vital role in reconciliation efforts in Somalia.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud offered his deepest condolences to the Sultan's family, relatives, and the people of Jubaland, praying to God to have mercy on him and grant him eternal peace. He also prayed to God to grant his family and the Somali people patience and solace.
