The President of the Republic chairs the security meeting for the Southwest State.

 The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, chaired a special security meeting for the South West State of Somalia. The meeting focused on the security situation in the region, managing recent security and administrative changes, and ensuring a fair and equitable justice system for all.

During the meeting, the President received detailed reports from military commanders and security officials, who presented plans to secure the region, expedite operations against extremist groups, and enhance coordination among the various security agencies.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud emphasized to officials and security leaders the necessity of working together to maintain security, control irregular armed groups within the city, and strengthen citizens' trust in and support for government institutions. The meeting was attended by the Acting President of the South West State of Somalia, Mr. Jibril Abdirashid Haji, the Minister of State in the Presidency, and military commanders.
