The Republic's ambassador to Sudan presents his credentials to the Sudanese Foreign Minister

 His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Jama Omar, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Republic of Sudan, presented a copy of his credentials to His Excellency Mohi El-Din Salem, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sudan, as part of the official diplomatic accreditation procedures.

During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Somali leadership, affirming the Federal Government's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in the political, economic, educational, and cultural sectors. Both sides emphasized the importance of advancing shared priorities that contribute to regional stability, sustainable development, and enhanced multilateral coordination.

For his part, the Minister welcomed the Ambassador, affirming Sudan's full support for his mission and praising the historical ties between the two countries. This meeting reflects Somalia's ongoing efforts to deepen its diplomatic partnerships and strengthen its presence in the region, while opening new avenues for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
