Somali police announce enhanced security measures in Mogadishu before the month of Ramadan

Somali police spokesman, Qasim Ahmed Roble, announced the strengthening of security measures before the advent of the holy month of Ramadan to maintain the security and stability of the capital, Mogadishu, and its surrounding areas.

Roble stressed the readiness of the security forces to enhance security measures in Mogadishu, highlighting the importance of maintaining peace during the month of Ramadan, which begins next week.

The security forces recently targeted, near the “Denili” district in Mogadishu, elements linked to the Al-Shabaab movement, which led to the arrest of many of them. The police spokesman pointed out the importance of cooperation between the security services and the residents of the capital, Mogadishu.

It should be noted that the situation in the capital, Mogadishu, has improved since last year due to the efforts made by the police and military police, which conduct large-scale operations in the capital’s districts, including searching vehicles and individuals to ensure the safety of residents and prevent potential security threats.
