The President of Puntland State meets the British Ambassador to Somalia
On Saturday, the President of Puntland State, Said Abdullah Deni, accompanied by members of his government, met with the British Ambassador to Somalia, Michael Nithavrianakis, and his accompanying delegation.A statement issued by the Puntland Presidency indicated that the meeting between the two sides discussed the general situation in Somalia, the process of building the Somali state, and how to advance Somalia.
The statement added that the discussions also touched on the affairs of Puntland state, especially the issue of democracy, activating the development projects implemented by Britain in the state, and strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the two sides.
