A delegation of Somali children arrives in Beijing

 A delegation of Somali children from the Abdul Aziz Orphanage arrived in Beijing. The Chinese hosts warmly welcomed them, marking the beginning of a rich cultural exchange program titled “China and Africa: Children Hand in Hand.”

This initiative aims to promote mutual understanding and friendship, and will see children participating in various activities showcasing the rich cultural heritage of both countries.

The delegation's arrival represents a continuation of a journey that began last year when China and Somalia jointly celebrated International Children's Day at the Abdul Aziz Orphanage in Mogadishu through the “Warm Hearts of Children” event.
