President Hassan Sheikh receives officials from the United Nations

 His Excellency the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, received Ms. Mama Keita from the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and Mr. George Conway, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, along with international experts at the presidential palace.

The discussions focused on the third and final phase of the development process of Centenary Vision 2060 (CV2060), which is the strategic plan for Somalia to achieve upper-middle-income country status by 2060 and is one of the strategies that will move Somalia to another level.

The President stressed that CV2060 will serve as the basis for the National Transformation Plan and subsequent medium-term and sectoral plans until 2060. Members of the Somali National Economic Council were also present.
