The Somali President arrives in Kampala
The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, arrived in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, on an official working visit.
President Mahmoud is expected to hold talks with his Ugandan counterpart, Yoweri Museveni, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries, especially in the file of combating terrorism in the region.
Uganda is one of the most prominent countries contributing to the African Mission to Support the Stabilization of Somalia (OSOM), which plays an important role in supporting security and stability efforts in Somalia.
