The social networking site "Twitter" has made a new feature available to all its users via smartphones, which is the ability to cut out a specific part of any audio discussion, and share it via Twitter Spaces.
Last March, the company began testing the new feature, called "Clips", by making it available to a limited number of users, as it was initially limited to hosts of audio discussions, not participants, but it is now available to all Twitter users.
As for the secret behind Twitter's launch of this new feature, social media expert Mohammed Al-Harthy says that it came "to make it easier for users to take advantage of the most important parts of audio discussions, without having to listen to those discussions completely."
Al-Harthy added in his speech to “Sky News Arabia”: “Twitter has been keen throughout the past period to test many new features, in conjunction with entering a judicial war with Elon Musk, after announcing his withdrawal from the acquisition deal, and the last of these features is sharing parts of audio discussions with general users.
According to the latest developments in that judicial war, “Twitter” scored its first victory over Musk, by winning the first round in the judicial dispute, against the background of announcing the cancellation of the deal to buy the site, which amounted to $44 billion.
A judge in a Delaware state court said there was a "cloud of uncertainty about the Twitter deal," while accepting the site's argument that the delay "would damage its business."
In conjunction with that ongoing war, a social media expert explains to Sky News Arabia, “During this crisis, Twitter seeks to improve the user experience and develop its performance, to emphasize the platform’s strength and ability to grow in the future, and to expand its user base of 229 million active users. per month, which guarantees her more profit.
In the same context, Twitter introduced at the end of last June, the Twitter Notes feature, which allows users to create articles with advanced text editing methods, with the ability to include images and videos. Twitter also recently launched a new feature called "Circle", which helps its users to share tweets with a certain number of friends.
